Minerva (Arce) Santiago

WORCESTER – Minerva Santiago Arce, 67, of Worcester, died Friday, April 14, 2017 at UMass Memorial – Lake Ave.

Her husband, Antonio Santiago, predeceased her.  She leaves five sons, George and Sue Santiago, Milton and  Eva Santiago, Antony and Evelyn Santiago, Ariel and Graciela Santiago, and Hector and Jessica Santiago; a daughter, Yolanda Santiago and Miguel Carabacco; eleven grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; three brothers and 5 sisters.  She is predeceased by her son, Jose Santiago and one sister.  She was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico, daughter of Generoso and Magdalena (Maestre) Arce.

Minerva loved reading the Bible and sitting in her recliner listening to music. 

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 19 at 10:00 am at Iglesia Bethsaida, 17 Hawley St, Worcester.  Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester.  CALLING HOURS  will be held Tuesday, April 18 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at IGLESIA BETHSAIDA, 17 HAWLEY ST.  Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester, is in care of arrangements.
