Maria Del Pilar Feliciano

WORCESTER – Maria Del Pilar Feliciano Asencio, 49, of Providence, RI, died Saturday, May 11, 2019 at UMass Memorial – Lake Ave surrounded by her loving family.

She leaves three children, Carlos Lopez Feliciano of New York, Cari Lopez Feliciano of Rhode Island, Tahia Lopez Feliciano of Worcester; her father and step-mother, José and Evelyn Lassu of Florida; four sisters, Lizbeth Figueroa, Irma Lassu and Yacenia Nelson, all of Florida, and Barbara Carron Asencio of Puerto Rico; her mother, Benita Asencio of Puerto Rico; her mother-in-law, Agripina Colon of Worcester; 5 grandchildren and 2 more on the way; many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her son Lemuel Lopez Feliciano in April, 2019 and her sister Maria Carron Asencio of Puerto Rico.   She was born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, daughter of José Lassu and Benita Asencio.

Maria was an outgoing person, she loved music and enjoyed watching her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.

A funeral Service will be held Sunday, May 19, 2019 at 8:00 pm at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave.  Burial will be private.  Calling hours will be held Sunday, May 19 from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.
