Katherine Dorothy (Witt) Adams

WORCESTER – Katherine Dorothy (Witt) Adams, 68, died Friday, September 15, 2017 at Parsons Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, 1350 Main St, Worcester.

She was predeceased by her husband John S. Adams, her mother Catherine (Guglielmello) Witt and her father Everett M. Witt.  Her big brother David died December 4, 2016.  She leaves a daughter Sheri Malvey and grandchildren Nicholas Johnson, Brianna Malvey, Samantha Malvey and Cameron Donohue.  She also leaves nephews Michael and Mark Witt, a sister-in-law Barbara Witt, niece Michelle Witt and great-nephews David and John Witt.  Her many cousins and friends will miss Auntie Kathy or Cookie.

Kathy attended school in Shrewsbury.  She was involved in child care for many years and also worked at Clark University food services.  Her sense of humor and love for people were her most endearing qualities.  God was her refuge and her strength. 

The family wants to thank the amazing caregivers at Parsons Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for treating Kathy like a beloved family member. 

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Hadwen Park Congregational Church, 6 Clover St, Worcester. Burial will be private.  Donations may be made to the Hadwen Park Congregational Church Food Pantry, 6 Clover St, Worcester, MA 01603.  Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, is in care of arrangements.
