John A. Russell

WORCESTER – John A. Russell, 54, of Worcester, died Monday, April 1, 2019 at home surrounded by friends. 

John’s caretakers and closest friends were his Seven Hills family, Cameron Loss and his wife Debra and their children Bianca and Damon of Worcester, Tom and his wife Mamie Khoury and  their children George and Michael of Worcester, Tara Overton and James Arthur and their children Ashton and Devon of Worcester.  He also leaves his mother, Mary Garrett of Mattoon, Illinois, two brothers, David Posey of Texas and Sean Landrum and his wife Amy of Texas, two sisters, Tammy Cook and her husband Garth of Louisiana, Kayce Schilling and her husband Jordan of Illinois; nieces, Ayla, Marley, Zella Schilling and Bailey Cook; nephews Blake, Caleb and his wife Alexandria Eakle and their daughter Sophie Grace .John also leaves his friends Kathy Riley and Jan Spurtz.  He was born in Springfield, MA, son of Peter and Mary (Farrar) Russell and lived in Worcester most of his life. 

John was a maintenance worker for Marriot Hotel.  He enjoyed going to Life in the Word Ministries.  He enjoyed dancing, eating, and was very social.  He loved going out with friends. 

A Funeral Service will be Sunday, April 7, 2019 at 6:00 pm at Life in the Word Ministries, 229 Grafton Street, Worcester.  Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, is in care of arrangements.
