John E. Lewis

HOLDEN - John E. Lewis, 69, of Holden, died Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital after an illness.

He leaves a brother, James R. Lewis and his wife Marylou of Miami, FL; a niece and nephew, Melissa L. and Justin R. Lewis and his wife Giannina of Miami, and one grand-niece.  He was predeceased by a sister, Jane E. Lewis in 2015.  He was born in Worcester, son of the late Edward G. and Ann L. (Polli) Lewis. 

John was a teacher in the Public School system in Hull, MA. 

Funeral services were held privately.  There are no calling hours.  Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester, is in care of arrangements.
