Jason E. Lugo

WORCESTER – Jason E. Lugo, 29, of Webster, died Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at home.

He leaves his wife, Janelle D. (Hall) Lugo; his parents Edwin Lugo of Texas and Virgen S. Ortiz of Worcester; two sons, Elian Ortiz of Florida and Jason Lugo, Jr. of Worcester; three daughters, Jayla, Jaleah, and Jade Lugo, all of Worcester; his maternal grandmother Carmen Fernandez of Worcester; his paternal grandparents, Hipolito and Carmen Lugo of Texas; four brothers, Edwin Lugo, Jr., Jonathan Lugo, and Nicholas Lugo, all of Texas, and his twin brother James R. Lugo of Worcester; his sisters, Stephanie L. Lugo of Texas and Jessenia Ortiz of Worcester; many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Carmelo Fernandez Ortiz, who died September 30, 2017.   He was born in Worcester, son of Edwin Lugo and Virgen Ortiz. 

Jason worked as a medical driver for Santec.  He loved his kids, he was always there to help anyone, was a great father, husband and son.  He knew everyone and was always helping others.

The funeral will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at All Faiths Cemetery, 7 Island Rd, Worcester, with a funeral procession leaving from Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, at 1:45 pm.  Burial will follow.  Calling hours are Wednesday, December 6 from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm at the funeral home.   In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Jason’s wife Janelle and their children.
