WORCESTER – James W. "Jim" Drolet, 72, of Worcester, died Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Worcester Rehab / Radius Healthcare, Worcester.
He leaves a sister, Nancy Kane and her husband Kevin of North Chelmsford, a sister-in-law Sheila Drolet of Holden, several nephews, nieces and cousins, especially his cousin Claire Seaman and her husband Bill who were very attentive and devoted to Jim. He was predeceased by his brother Robert P. Drolet and an infant brother Richard Drolet.
He was born in Worcester, son of N. Edward and Doris (Seibold) Drolet. He graduated from Commerce High School and Quinsigamond Community College.
James worked at Drolet Service Station in Worcester. He also worked at Presmet and Harrington & Richardson. He was a member of the Old Car Club, Inc, Central Mass Model T Club, Inc and the Wachusett Old Car Club, Inc. He was also a member of the Genesis Club. He was a former member of Our Lady of Fatima Church.
The funeral will be held Friday, May 11, 2018 from Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, with a Mass at 11:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Church, 555 Pleasant St, Worcester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, 162 Webster St, Worcester. Calling hours are 9:30 – 10:30 am on Friday at the funeral home.
