Iluminada Lopez

WORCESTER - Iluminada Lopez, 72, of Worcester, died Thursday, March 28, 2019 at UMass Memorial – Lake Ave surrounded by her loving family.

She leaves five children, Sonia Hernandez and her husband Carlos Baez of Worcester, Jose Rodriguez and his wife Annie of Rhode Island, Mayda Rodriguez of Worcester, Carlos Rodriguez and his wife Iliana of Florida; Liza Harris and her husband Sean of Leicester; a brother Feliz Lopez of Puerto Rico; two sisters Ana and Luz Lopez of Puerto Rico; 22 grandchildren, including four that she raised (Hector, Erica, Jessica, and Victor), 39 great-grandchildren, a number of great great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by her husband, Baltazar Hernandez, her daughter Ana Rodriguez, and her brothers Jorge, Juan, Elicier, Angel, and Miguel Lopez. Iluminada was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, daughter of Juan Lopez and Clotilde Ortiz and has lived here 42 years.

Calling hours will be held Friday, April 5, 2019 from 10:00 – 12:00 pm at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, followed by a graveside service at 12:30 PM at Notre Dame Cemetery, 162 Webster St, Worcester
