Evelyn Faford Obituary

CHARLTON – Evelyn A. (Bourdeau) Faford, 99, formerly of Worcester and Shrewsbury, died Thursday, April 26, 2018 at the Overlook Masonic Health Center, Charlton. 

Her husband, Ralph D. Faford, died in 1999.  She leaves a daughter, Theresa Ledoux and her husband Robert of Harvard, three granddaughters: Nicole and her husband Steven of Watertown, Dominique and Gabrielle Ledoux, and a great-grandson, George.  She also leaves a first cousin, Paul Laflamme and his wife Gloria of Monson.  She was predeceased by a brother,

Victor Bourdeau and two sisters, Jeannette A. Bibeau and Rose Lamoureux.  She was born in Gilbertville, MA, daughter of Fernando and Flora (Desjardins) Bourdeau.  She graduated from Ware High School.   

Evelyn was a hairdresser for many years.  She worked at the Beauty Corner Salon on Pearl Street.  She enjoyed Bingo, the occasional ride to visit her hometown of Ware, the visits from friends and family and her close friends at Overlook and St. Joseph Church in Webster.

 The funeral will be held Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, with a Mass at 11:00 am at Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph's Church, 35 Hamilton St., Worcester.  Entombment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum, 162 Webster St. Worcester. Calling hours are 9:15 – 10:15 am on Tuesday at the funeral home.
