Carmen E. Berrios

WORCESTER – Carmen E. Berrios, 81, of Worcester, died Friday, December 20, 2019 at her daughter’s home surrounded by her loving family. 

She leaves her husband Marcelino Martir of 21 years.  She also leaves behind three sons, Dimas Ortiz, Angel Ortiz, and Moses Ortiz; seven daughters, Carmen Garcia, Wanda Ortiz, Awilda Robles and her husband Angel Robles, Dorinda Harper and her husband Doug, Marguerite Mowry and her husband Edwin Rodriguez, Marisol Beltran and her husband Ruben Beltran, Yolanda Fernandez and her husband David Fernandez; twenty-eight grandchildren: Tiffany, Robert, Christina, Gilbert, Christopher, Joshua, Anna, Mayra, Angie, Denisa, Alan, Steve, Andrew, Jennifer, Isabelle, Bethany, Diana, Justine, Christina, Ana, Angel Jr., Christopher, Teresa, Amanda, Adriana, Jacob, Joseph, and Jonas.  She also leaves a brother and two sisters, and many nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.

Carmen was predeceased by her husband, Dimas Ortiz, a daughter, Anna Roman, and a brother, Pedro Berrios Jr.  She was born in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico, daughter of Pedro Berrios and Felicita Villegas.

Calling hours will be held Friday, December 27, 2019 from 10:00 – 11:00 am at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, followed by a service at 11:00 am at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Hope Cemetery, 119 Webster St, Worcester.
