Alban Kroi Obituary
WORCESTER, MA – Alban Kroi, 46, of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, died suddenly on Tuesday July 17, 2018 at JFK Airport in New York.
His mother, Shpresa Kroi, of Worcester, died Sunday, July 15. He leaves a daughter, Erin Kroi of Vancouver; his father, Ferat Kroi of Worcester; a brother, Ermal Kroi and his wife Arta of Worcester; his former wife, Rezarta Kroi of Vancouver; a nephew, Mirgen Kroi and a niece, Angela Kroi, both of Worcester. He was born in Kukes, Albania, and has lived in Canada for the past 18 years.
Alban was a restaurant manager for many years. He attended law school at Tirana University in Albania and worked as a lawyer for a few years, then at Albanian Mobile Communications before relocating to Canada in 2000.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 am on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Hope Cemetery, Worcester, with a procession leaving at 11:00 am from Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave. A calling hour will be held Tuesday morning before the funeral from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
