Shaky Yamirka Santana Ramos

WORCESTER – Shaky Yamirka Santana Ramos, 27, of Worcester, died unexpectedly Friday, June 16, 2017 at home.

She leaves a son, Jonathan Santana and a daughter, Christine Aurora Atkinson; her parents, Juan Santana of Puerto Rico and Aurora Ramos of Worcester;  two sisters, Sheila Santana of Worcester and Sharlene Santana and Jayson Reyes of Worcester; nieces and nephews, Arelys Maldonado, Khrystian Maldonado, Shenelix Bonilla, Felix Bonilla, Sheylianix Bonilla, Jayxiel Reyes Santana; many aunts, uncles and cousins.  She was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, daughter of Juan and Aurora (Ramos) Santana. 

Shaky worked as a waitress at the Texas Road House Restaurant in Worcester.  She was a wonderful daughter, she had lots of friends.  She was always able to make someone laugh and was a great support system for anyone who needed her.  She was a well-educated girl and had the utmost respect for everyone.  Shaky loved her children very much and they loved her unconditionally in return.

The funeral will be held Thursday, June 22, 2017.  The family will gather at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, and leave in procession at 10:00 am to Hope Cemetery for burial.  Calling hours are Wednesday, June 21 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.   The family asks that donations be made to a Go Fund Me account in Shaky’s name:  https://www.gofundme.com/my-daughter-shaky-santana-burial.
