Robert O. Dufresne

WORCESTER – Robert O. Dufresne, 71, of West Roxbury, died Sunday, May 28, 2017 at UMass Memorial – Lake Ave after an illness.  

He leaves his mother, Constance Dufresne of Worcester, his cousins, Claudette Rice and her husband Daniel of Sutton, Annette Armstrong and family of Florida, Joan and Richard Gosselin of New Hampshire.  He was born in Westfield, MA, son of Omer L. and Constance J. (Prefontaine) Dufresne.  He graduated from Oxford High School and the New England School of Accounting.

Robert was an accountant for the United States Veterans Administration.  He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. 

A funeral Mass will be held Friday, June 2 at 10:00 am in St. Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln St, Worcester.  Please go directly to the church.  Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Webster.  There are no calling hours.  Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester, is in care of arrangements. Donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
