Norma Orlandi

WORCESTER – Norma Orlandi, 87, of Worcester, died Saturday, November 4, 2017 at UMass Memorial, Lake Ave, Worcester. 

She leaves four daughters, Julie and Norma Orlandi of New York, Naomi Orlandi of Puerto Rico, and Yvette Lopez of Worcester ; two grandchildren, Omar Morales and his wife Amy of Worcester, and Jose and his wife Donna Castle of Worcester; a great-granddaughter, Naisha Morales of Worcester; many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her significant other, Ceiclo Garcia Rodriguez; and her brother, “Chavo” Santiago Orlandi.  She was born in Puerto Rico, daughter of Francisco Orlandi and Luz Maria Velazquez, and has lived in the U.S. since 1945.  She lived in Southbridge for 33 years before moving to Worcester.   

Norma enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren; she enjoyed eating cakes and shopping.  She made her family tea when they were ill.  Her favorite color was red. 

Funeral services will be held privately.  There are no calling hours.  Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester, is in care of arrangements.
