Neida Cordova Delgado

WORCESTER – Neida Cordova Delgado, 69, of Worcester, died Sunday, November29, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family after an illness.
     She leaves her husband, José Betancourt; three sons, José Betancourt and Carlos Betancourt, both of Worcester, and Ramon Castro of Boston; five daughters, Midali, Iraida, Omayra, Anabelle, and Neida Betancourt, all of Worcester; three stepchildren, Ivette, Edwin and Anabell; five brothers and two sisters, all of Puerto Rico; 24 grandchildren and one expected; three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by three brothers.  She was born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, daughter of Carlos and Ricarda (Delgado) Cordova.  She has lived here since 1984.
     Neida was a laundry worker at the Christopher House in Worcester.
     A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave.  Burial will be private.  Calling hours are Thursday, December 3 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
