Maria Inigo

WORCESTER – Maria Inigo, 98, of Worcester, died Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at UMass-Memorial, Belmont St,after being stricken ill at home.

She leaves two daughters, Marisa Soto of New York and Nilza Morales and her husband Irving Rivera of Worcester; 5 grandchildren, Grace Morales of New York, Alexander Diaz of Puerto Rico, Janet Alfaro of Worcester, Wilfredo Ingles of Worcester, and David Soto of New York; and 9 great-grandchildren.  She was born in Anasco, Puerto Rico, daughter of Justa Ynigo and has lived in Worcester about 10 years.  She previously lived in New York.

Calling hours will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 6 at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave.  Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, Worcester.
