Margarita (Calderon) Santos

WORCESTER – Margarita Santos, 64, of Worcester, died Sunday, October 1, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester. 

Her husband, Angel Luis Santos, predeceased her.  She leaves two daughters, Margarita Santos of Worcester and Glenda Santos of Worcester; two brothers, Franciso and Poto Calderon, both of Puerto Rico; two sisters, Maritza and Maribel Calderon, both of Puerto Rico; nine grandchildren, Angelica, Stephanie, Angel, Miguel, Christian Santiago; Eliezer, Ashley, Alexis Crespo and  Shaylinn Burden; three great-grandchildren Josue Flores; Jadiel and Jazaiah Santiago.  She was predeceased by a daughter, Yvette Santos.  She was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, daughter of Franciso and Paula (Huertas) Calderon.

Margarita loved dancing.  She loved her “Coors Light”.  She was a happy lady and did not like when people fought around her.  She lived for her girls.  She was a great domino player, loved cooking and baking cakes.  She loved making Soiullos and Pasteles and white rice. 

Calling hours are Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 6 – 8:00 pm at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave.  Burial will be private.
