Jose Orlando Ortiz Cotto

WORCESTER – José Orlando Ortiz Cotto, 27, of Worcester, died Wednesday, August 24, 2016.

He leaves his mother Virginia Cotto, his father Orlando Ortiz, two sons, José Ortiz, Jr, and Josiell Ortiz; his step-mom Michaell Ortiz, his step-dad Juan Quiro, and his second Mom, Gloria; seven brothers, Orlando Ortiz, Aaron Ortiz, Edanell Abad, Danny Rosario, Omar Matos, Xavier Moreno, Andry and Michael; a sister Sacha Ortiz; his nieces and nephews Angel Luis Ortiz, Xaiden Ortiz, Danell Abad, Sacharry Morales, and Xary Moreno; his aunts Gladys, Anabel, and Ines Cotto, cousins Melvin Matias, Melody, and Onasis; aunts Juanita and Jolanda, cousins Isamar and Joana.  He was born in Caquaz, Puerto Rico and has lived here most of his life.

José was a maintenance worker at West Side House in Worcester.  He was the joker in the family.  He made everyone happy, had a great smile, and tried to keep everyone on the right path.  José loved his children to the max and treated his nieces and nephews like his children.

Services were held privately under the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester.
