WORCESTER – John G. Aghajanian, 68, of Putnam, CT, died Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at UMass Memorial – Belmont Street after a short illness.

He leaves his wife, Linda J. (Purtle) Aghajanian; a son, Gregory Aghajanian of Quincy; two half-brothers, Kenneth Marquis of New Hampshire and William Marquis of Boston; several nieces and nephews, Michael Marquis, Lisa Marquis, Edouard Marquis, Katie Soranoce.  He is predeceased by a brother, Edouard Marquis.  He was born in Quincy, son of William and Ann (Infante) Aghajanian.

John was an electron microscopist at the University of Connecticut Hospital.  He graduated from Milton High School, Milton, MA.  He was a Masonic Brother since 5/16/1987.  He was an active member of the New England Society for Electron Microscopy, and had the following accomplishments:
