Elidia M. (Jacques) Wiseman

WORCESTER-Elidia M. (Jacques) Wiseman, 58, of Worcester, passed away Tuesday, June 21st in the UMass Medical Center, Worcester, from complications after a sudden illness.

Lydia leaves behind her daughter, Heather Wiseman of Rowena, TX; best friend and love, Michael Kehoe of Worcester; brother, Jesse Jacques, sister Margaret Mojica; aunts Mary Lou Garza and Mary Soto; uncles, Frank Garza and Pete Jacques; nephew and niece, Andrew and Allie Jacques; cousins Mary Helen Owen of Rowena, Nelda Coleman of NY, Jaime, Isaac and Catherine Garza, all of Rowena, TX, and special friends Lauren, Bridget, Alexandra, Roy and Megan Kehoe.

She was born in Ballinger, TX, to Margarito and Delfina (Gaitan) Jacques; Lydia went on to attend schools in Rowena and worked as a Nurse’s Aide before retiring several years ago. She lived happily in Worcester with her partner Michael for the past 5 years. She was predeceased, many years earlier, by her husband Robert and more recently by her mother Delfina.

Lydia had a strong Christian Faith, and radiated love to everyone in her life. She enjoyed the ocean, beach and White Mountains, but was happy just spending time with Michael, no matter what they were doing. She was a beautiful soul and will be missed greatly.

There will be no calling hours and a Memorial Service is being planned, the date will be published on RiceFuneralHome.com when finalized. The funeral service will be private. Godspeed Lydia, the Lord awaits you to begin the next leg of your journey.
