Christopher F. Quiles

WORCESTER – Christopher F. Quiles, 38, of Everett, died Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Tufts Medical Center, Boston.

He leaves his father Hector Quiles of Worcester, two sons, Christopher F. Quiles, Jr. of Worcester and Jayden Sabree Quiles of Worcester; his girlfriend Ana Escobar of Boston, the love of his life; five sisters and brothers, Maria Quiles of Worcester, John Felder and his wife Gina of Worcester, Lisa Marie Quiles Carrasquillo and her husband Eduardo of Worcester, Emily Quiles and Israel Semiday of Worcester, and Stevenson Newkirk, Jr. of Worcester; many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his mother Sheila Santiago Quiles in 2006. He was born in Worcester, son of Hector and Shelia (Santiago) Quiles and has lived in the Boston area for 8 years.  

Christopher worked in sales for the Boston Globe, a job that he loved.

There are not enough words that can express the greatness of Christopher Quiles.  The outgoing personality, the loving and caring ways, all the hilarious moments, there was never a dull moment.  If you knew Chris you can’t help but smile with just a thought of him.  He touched many lives, he always was above and beyond whatever it was that he did.  If he could save a life he would, give the shirt off his back or just in general his way with words.  He was brave, courageous, strong and knowing our loved one; to be able to donate to help other people would have been the decision he himself would have made because that is just who he was.  

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester.  Burial will be private.  Calling hours are Sunday, May 21 from 5 – 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
